51.2V is the nominal voltage of a 16S LiFePO4 pack and is commonly called a 48V platform in solar and UPS systems.

Can rack batteries be connected in parallel?

Parallel expansion is usually possible, but the final limit depends on BMS design, inverter protocol, cabling, and protection settings.
