Use a pouch pack when thickness, shaped cavity, micro connector, and protection PCB are the main constraints. Use a polymer high-rate pack when continuous or burst current, XT-class connectors, compression, and thermal rise dominate the design.

Which project stage fits pack assembly service?

Choose Custom OEM pack design while cell selection, architecture, BMS, enclosure, connector, or validation still need engineering. Choose battery pack assembly service when the specification or drawings are ready for controlled production.

Can pouch packs support shaped or irregular cavities?

Yes, within cell and assembly limits. Corner radius, tab exit, PCB placement, compression, and swelling allowance must be reviewed together with the cavity drawing before sampling.

When should buyers request bare pouch cells instead?
